Close to a century....well almost

Looking at pictures this year I had to post a comparison of a picture of me an my boys this year to last. I went to the doctor's two weeks ago and am down 97 pounds...so I have almost hit the century mark.

2010 - You also have to take note of the height on Guido.
He has shot up like a weed this year.

Although, I notice the difference in how I feel I don't really notice until I actually look at pictures. I can't wait to see how much 2011 brings or (removes.)

Not always unlucky...

I believe I have mentioned this before in a previous post but it is worth mentioning again. I do not own a scale. I go off of how I feel and how my clothes are fitting to know whether I am experiencing success or not. The numbers don't matter to me but they do matter to my doctor. Since I have to go in and have my thyroid checked monthly I have to have my weight checked as
well. So the magic numbers today was 13. I am down 13 pounds since my last visit to the doctors. Which is terrific. It does make me happy to know all the hard work is paying off. It is so hard to lose weight when you have a thyroid disorder, especially because of all of the havoc it wreaks on your metabolism. Although, I know I will never be able to fix my thyroid I have been able to make some adjustments that seem to be paying off.
